I bought these along with pills because fleas have been extremely bad this year were I live. No matter what topical we used. These collars have helped keep our animals fleas problems under control. I recommend them to everyone.

I can't speak for my dog but for the 8 months he wore this I didn't see any discomfort, notable itching or ticks. It's been 2 months since he's stopped wearing it and he has been itching more than usual so I will be repurchasing.
